Kristina Mattson — Attorney 

Kristina moved to Spokane from Colorado over seventeen years ago and loves raising her four kids with her husband in the Inland Northwest. When not in the office, Kristina enjoys laughing with her kids, baking yummy treats, traveling, camping, and visiting extended family.

Kristina Mattson is proud to be a small business owner in Spokane, and she loves working with families in this community. In 2020 and 2021, Kristina navigated the Medicaid application process and found residential placement for her mother with advanced dementia. This experience informs Kristina’s practice every day as she endeavors to provide compassionate and informed legal advice to all of her clients.

Attorney Kristina Mattson began her legal career working with businesses and helping them navigate environmental law and commercial litigation matters. Her practice has evolved over time, pivoting towards the fields of estate planning, probate, and elder law.

Jennifer Schneider — Paralegal 

Jennifer Schneider is the firm’s paralegal. She is a gifted researcher and highly compassionate person who likes greeting and talking with clients to solve their legal problems.

Jennifer was raised on the East Coast but has been firmly planted in the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years. She and her husband moved to Spokane 12 years ago to raise their two boys, who are now in college and high school. Jennifer has a B.A. in Art History, and her first job out of college was as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador.

Jennifer has worked as a website developer at Amazon and as an art teacher. When she is not in the office, she enjoys downhill and Nordic skiing, biking, and whitewater rafting with her family.

Bethany Railton — Legal Assistant

Bethany is the firm’s Legal Assistant and she is the newest member of our team. Bethany participated in Running Start in high school, and as a result graduated in two years from Eastern State University in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and minors in Psychology and Political Science.

Bethany aspires to attend law school in the future.

Bethany is a Spokane native, and she enjoys snowboarding and skiing at Mt. Spokane. Bethany also likes boating in the San Juan Islands, and spending time with her family and pets, her dog Bristol and her cat Cocoa.
